It’s been our long-time dream to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and leave all the cement and traffic in our rearview mirrors.
Then the seed was planted in Blanco, Texas.
Blanco is so charming and quaint. It is definitely a hidden gem on the way to making a massive splash on the map. It has the cutest shops and restaurants! Though it’s known for hosting an incredible lavender festival in June, the town offers so much more year-round.
Get out in nature, learn history, sip on some of the most well-known and sought-after wines, craft beers, and whiskies, and eat well and live right. Blanco’s Old County Courthouse is a sight to behold. Built-in 1886, it only officially served as the courthouse for four years but it’s found a second life as a historical museum, an event center, and a movie set for films like True Grit. The park next to the city hall is a must-see.
Crows Nest Cribs opened in April 2023 and is set in the picturesque Texas Hill country. Perfect for a romantic getaway for a long weekend or solo refresh. Crows Nest Cribs has everything you need. We are minutes from the river in Blanco or the first wine tasting. There are endless opportunities nearby to go on adventures in State Parks, historical sites, and unique geography.
Contain & Chill
Contain and Chill is a place to do just that "chill." You can relax by the fire pit with a glass of wine, curl up to a good book in the hammock, or hit the deck 12 feet high overlooking the hill country. The deck has a two-person hot tub and sitting area where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the hill country and catch the most breathtaking sunsets. This unique home is not just a couple's getaway; it's an experience.
